Poster Gets Notice Overseas
Deroy Peraza is the man behind one of the many well-designed Barack Obama posters you may have seen this election season. His “New Hope” poster was exhibited in Denver during the Democratic National Convention, where it caught the eye of Cynthia Odier, founder of the Switzerland-based emerging-art gallery Flux Laboratory. Odier tapped Peraza to showcase work from his firm, Hyperakt, at the Flux Laboratory’s Dark Room in Geneva.
